We have 2 leaders, 2 adult helpers and 1 young leader. Uniform is a Guide top and whatever trousers the girls want to wear.
There are two Patrols within our Unit – Penguins and Elephants with 8 Guides in each Patrol.
At the age of 10 young girls are able to take the giant leap from Brownies into Guides, where they will become more independent and responsible. The Promise that they have previously taken in Brownies also changes, as do the laws. As Guides they get to decide what they would like to do, whether it be badges or outings.
